Area IV uses the same point system as USEA. Points reflected on the USEA leaderboard will be same as Area IV Leaderboard points. Visit www.useventing.com for a description of USEA's Point System. USEA does not use a weighting system for Juniors, etc. for their Year-End awards, nor will Area IV. In 2010, awards will be presented at each level but will not be presented for Overall Horse/Rider of the Year as in the past. To be eligible for Horse of the Year Awards, the owner of the horse must be a USEA member and his or her residence, as recorded with USEA, is in Area IV. To be eligible for Rider of the Year Awards, the rider must be a USEA member and his or her residence, as recorded with USEA, is in Area IV. The 2011 Top Ten Horse and Top Ten Riders at each level will receive ribbons at the Area IV Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet to be held March 24th, 2012. The provisional standings are listed below. Inquiries must be directed to John Clarke, Area IV Chairman (areachairman@usea4.org) no later than Saturday, January 15th. No changes will be made after January 15th.
