The leaderboard continues to be a confusing beast for most of us.  Thanks to the friendly folks at USEA we have a few clarifications as to why the points are what they are.  CLICK HERE for detailed rules on the different leaderboards.  This is especially important for those who ride at multiple levels because sometimes that disqualifies you from a lower level leaderboard.  For example: if your horse is going training but as a pair you've completed 3 Prelims, you won't be eligble for Training Rider or Training Horse leaderboards.  Area IV uses the same rules as the USEA for leaderboards to limit the confusion, although that isn't always possible!  If you have questions about you or your horses points, check the rules and then send an email to our Area Chairman John Clarke at areaivchair2010@yahoo.com and he'll be happy to explain it to you.
