Well, in spite of the wicked weather the Midwest has been having, we've completed two excellent Horse Trials, Mill Creek Pony Club HT at Longview, Kansas City, and Otter Creek Spring HT in Wisconsin.

And the Adult Rider members have done incredibly well!

Adult Riders won or placed very high in nearly every single division offered at both horse trials.  As a matter of fact, the only division (other than the Juniors) that did not have a highly placed AR was Beginner Novice B at Longview and that's because no ARs competed in that division.

The winners are:

Mill Creek: Preliminary - Julie Wolfert, Training - Dehlia McAfee, Novice A 2nd place - Colleen Orta, Novice B 2nd place - Jana Lyle,  and Beginner Novice A 3rd place - Jill Wagenknecht.

Otter Creek: Intermediate - Liz Lund, Preliminary - Lisa Borgia, Prelim/Training 2nd place - Ann Bower, Open Training - Ann Bower, Open Novice A 3rd place - Brook Schweiss, Open Novice B - Jenna Sack, Beginner Novice Rider 2nd place - Callae Hyde, and Open Beginner Novice - Liz Lund.

Congratulations to Colleen Orta and Aleta NSF with their Low Score of 25.9 and Liz Lund and Rhine Maiden with their Low Score of 26.2.  Well done, ladies!

Don't forget the Adult Rider Camp at Briar Fox Farm in June, entries due by June 3.  And then the Adult Team Competition from the Chronicle of the Horse at Otter Creek Farm in July.   Be sure to make that a destination event.  Let me know if you have a team, or want to be on a team.

Sincerely,
